August Sit and Sew Day

MMQG members know the best way to make it through a Melbourne winter is to gather in a group and make quilts.  So that’s what we did.  And we were so delighted to welcome some new members to the team!

And we especially love when new members bring Show and Tell to their very first meeting.
Chris showed us this monochromatic winner:

As well as this Tula Pink City Sampler.

Some of the charity quilts started last month came back completed and ready to be donated.  Thanks Rhonda!

And Cathy M claimed bragging rights for bringing a trio of finished quilts.  Repeat, the three quilts were finished.

Just a little something she whipped up last week:

To contrast with these two long term projects.  Much beloved Guinevere:

We are looking forward to seeing all members who are coming along to our September Super Sit and Sew Day.  It’s going to be a full house!
