To apply, head to the Membership tab at the top of this page where you’ll find our online Membership application form and links to important documents. Once your application is approved, we’ll invoice you for a once-off joining fee of $15 plus the annual subscription fee (currently $50 per year with foundation members paying a pro rata rate of $25 for the remainder of the 2013-14 financial year, ending 30 June 2014).

After we’ve received your payment we’ll email you an invite to our Member’s only Facebook group where you can get involved straight away. Don’t forget to check out our calendar of sewing events to put in your diary – registrations for each event open on the first of the month prior to the event, eg, registrations for April events open on the first of March, and payments will now be taken through Trybooking. Also keep an eye out for your membership card and MMQG, Inc. fabric pack in the mail.

Not sure if you want to join? We welcome anyone to come to a total of two Sit and Sew Day/Evenings or meetings (with the exception of a General Meetings or Annual General Meeting) or a combination of both, as a visitor so you can experience some of what we have to offer. A Visitors Application form can be found under the Membership tab on the MMQG, Inc blog.

The current committee of MMQG, Inc. consists of a President – Louise, Vice President – Cathy, Secretary – Alissa, Treasurer – Andrea, and Ordinary Members – Maryjane and Mary-Anne. You’ll find us busy chatting and sewing at our sewing events, swapping ideas and tips with lots of laughter in between, and we love getting involved on our Facebook group and seeing all the inspiring, fabulous quilts and other works-in-progress that you’re working on.
