MMQG members know the best way to make it through a Melbourne winter is to gather in a group and make quilts. So that’s what we did. And we were so delighted to welcome some new members to the team!
And we especially love when new members bring Show and Tell to their very first meeting.
Chris showed us this monochromatic winner:
As well as this Tula Pink City Sampler.
Some of the charity quilts started last month came back completed and ready to be donated. Thanks Rhonda!
Bronwyn showed us her extraordinary improv quilt top which she made at the Creative Retreat under the guidance of none other than Cheryl Arkison.
And Ssu-Yuan showed her Tic Tac Toe quilt, with blocks designed by new MMQG member, Alyce.
Sue showed her skills in both low volume/value:
And bright vibrant colours in her log cabin:

We are looking forward to seeing all members who are coming along to our September Super Sit and Sew Day. It’s going to be a full house!
