SASDs

A 12 hour sewing day is not for the faint-hearted: our March retreat day.

Our Super Sewing Saturday was, as always, super! A huge, 10 hour sewing day is not for the faint-hearted, and allows members to make enormous inroads on their works in progress, with the support of caffeine and cake.

Our Show and Tell was epic.

Alys showed off her quilt top from Procrasticraft’s No Rules, No Rulers class. Not content with making an awesome improv quilt top, she then spent the day make a complementary quilt back.

In other MMQG news, the beehive has now opened, and members are working away on their blocks for quilt bees, this year with the themes of improv and paper-piecing.

Catherine has organised a scrap swap, with members curating 500g of their scraps for an anonymous swap. We look forward to seeing the results of that too.

Our next Sit and Sew Day is Saturday 23 April, and tickets are available here.
